Moments

There's just something about these that you can't explain. Some of these are about people, and I'm sure they know what they're about. Come talk to me about them if you know it's you!

• When you feel like you know that person in a movie, and you wish you could get to know them for real because you feel they know so much about you.
• That feeling of just losing yourself in the eyes of someone you love and respect.
• Listening to mom speak about her life and telling yourself how luck you are to have her.
• Sharing music with someone, or even better: creating some.
• Lying back on a lawn in the cool breeze and feeling that life is as it should be.
• Seeing the person you love for one last time knowing that you'll never meet again with the things being the way the are.
• Finding someone totally random you relate to at such levels you didn't expect.
• Dropping off a drunk friend to where they should be and being stupidly smiled at before they pass out.
• When you make someone happy by surprising them with something small but meaningful when they least expect it.
• Riding off to somewhere random, with the wind in your face and the whole world singing at you.
• Laughing so hard with people you respect knowing that this is by no means the last time that will happen.
• Watching someone's eyes light up when you tell them something about themselves that you feel is the honest truth, that unintentionally makes them feel good about themselves.
• Sharing such a level of trust with someone that you can let everything out and feel liberated at the end of it.
• That thrill of cooking up some awesome food when you're alone at home.
• That thrill of cooking up something that a loved one likes.
• Just being with someone and feeling like you need nothing else from life.
• Being able to be around something of insane beauty and brilliance.
• When your Dog looks at you with that knowing stare and you feel like you don't need another friend in the world.
• Waking up from a dream where you were 5 years old again
• When the sky switches 5 colors in 10 minutes and makes you feel so alive.
